[My kindergarten Sunday School class, about 10:45 a.m. Two five-year-olds, finished with their coloring activity and awaiting parental pickup, approach me.]
Child A: Can we play with blocks?
Me: OK. Make sure you put them away when your parents come pick you up.
Child A: OK.
[They begin walking over to the corner where the blocks are.]
Child B: Let's get the party started.

You are right, Ben. You can't make this stuff up. But ironically, my wife and I were stopped by my girls' SS teacher after church yesterday. We were at a different church than we usually attend due to my wife's health. This lady told us that she and her husband were teaching the class. After all but a few of the other kids had left at the end of church, my 4 1/2 year old daughter turned to her husband and said, "Let's get this party started!" So much for wishing your kids made you look good by quoting some verse or singing some hymn.
